TEDx Faurot Park Thematic Video

A short thematic video for TEDx Faurot Park’s Opening Ceremony in Lima, Ohio. The purpose of the video was to emphasize this year’s theme of “Connections” and  immerse viewers into the concept of the event.

Synopsis

This work is very similar to a hype video I made for the Graphic Information Technology program at ASU. I was tasked with creating a branded video that showcased alumni and industry working professionals of the GIT program.

Process

In my first steps I ideated, researched, and planned for how the video could look and what method best served its purpose. I started to look at previous works done for TEDx and other big conferences, after researching I proposed several concepts to the Creative Agency team, and once we chose a concept, I planned out a shot list and production schedule. Upon entering the production phase, it started with completing the shot list and gathering B-roll. When moving onto the Post-Production phase I gathered all assets needed for the video, created the project in Adobe Premiere Pro, and finalized the content/feedback with the project stakeholder.

Result

The project resulted in a polished and professional thematic video that effectively captured TEDx’s theme of “Connections.” The project was completed within the timeframe and the budget range, with little to no problems. The final deliverable reflects a cohesive creative direction that aligns with the event’s vision. The video can be seen on the GIT Creative Agency Behance page
